Sit between business, functional teams and stakeholders and turn requirements into clear, buildable specifications — then steer projects through delivery. You'll design solutions to business problems and keep clients, developers and management aligned end to end.
What you'll do
- Work with business, functional teams and stakeholders on requirement analysis to derive functional specifications, user stories and use-case diagrams, and pass them to the technical team for quality delivery.
- Create user stories, define acceptance criteria and manage SCRUM ceremonies across the project.
- Design solutions to business problems that advance the company's sales efforts — beginning with defining, analyzing and documenting requirements.
- Evaluate multiple options and help the team settle on the solution that's right for the company.
- Support the business through implementation, production support and post-production support of releases.
- Own the business, technical and functional requirements of each project.
- Assist in collecting and documenting user requirements, user stories and use-case diagrams.
- Coordinate teams to successful completion of projects and resolve issues or blocks that threaten timely delivery.
- Report project progress to top management and other stakeholders.
- Estimate projects and set deadlines and milestones.
- Manage projects and resources — break work into manageable modules and tasks, assign them, and monitor progress.
- Conduct grooming sessions, meetings and reviews.
- Coordinate with clients and business users on feasibility studies and acceptance testing.
- Lead requirement gathering, analysis, design and development of software projects.
- Respond promptly to bugs reported by business and stakeholders and resolve them on time for smooth operations.
- Help developers and support staff diagnose system / product problems; apply updates in the Acceptance environment and coordinate acceptance testing.
- Coordinate the release upgrade in the Production environment together with the on-site team.
- Respond promptly and professionally to concerns and queries.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's or foreign-equivalent degree in Business, Computer / Information Science, Engineering (any) or a related field.
- Three (3) years' experience as a Software Business Analyst or in a related occupation.
